An Important Message!
Anyone who is familiar with Katie's Page knows what we have gone through
emotionally and physically. We feel that it is time that we share what we are
going through spiritually. If you know us, then you know that we are
Born Again Christians. We take this very seriously. We believe that Katie's
healing is nothing short of a miracle from God. There have been countless
prayers said by us and thousands of others. God has heard you! He has
worked through Katie's doctor. The first time that Dr. Levien saw Katie,
he looked worst then we felt. A few months ago, he shared with us that,
when Katie was diagnosed, he thought he was going to have to give us
bad news. He said she looked like she was in for a rough time.
Everything has gone smoothly. In the beginning, he stated that Katie
would be in and out of the hospital at least three or four times. She has
not. He told us that it would take two or three months for Katie to go
into remission. Katie was in remission in 6 days and hasn't show any signs
of relapse. A friend of ours, Brenda, works with radiation chemo. She
said "That doctor better be standing beside himself, because that just
doesn't happen". It does when you have faith in God!

We thank God daily for this terrible disease. We don't ask why Katie
has to go through this. We feel that God knows what he is doing and that
He will be glorified by it in some way. Maybe someone will come to know
Jesus as their personal Savior because of it. Maybe someone will be
inspired to help children with cancer by becoming involved with a cause.
A cause like Give Kids The World or Relay For Life.

We also thank God daily for the blessings that come from this disease.
We have met a lot of new friends because of it. People like Kim and Brendt.
They saw Katie on Hugs and Hope and were inspired to get involved. They
asked to be Katie's Christmas Angels and to help provide gifts for the girls.
They live in our area and we have gone out to dinner with them several times.
We are blessed to be able to call them our friends. We have also become
friends with people from all over the country. For example, Melissa and
her family are from California. Our girls have become pen pals with her
girls. Donna and Melissa keep in touch through e-mail. And we can't forget
Melissa in Arizona. Another stranger who is now a friend. We have also gotten
to have contact with some pretty famous people. We have met Kurt Warner
and Scott Hamilton. We have had contact with Bob Denver and Dave Dravecky.

We have been blessed to have received the Wish Trip. There is no way that we
would have been able to go to Disney. If you have ever been, then you understand
how expensive it is. The same God that owns the cattle on a thousand hills has
provided for us during a financial drought. In the past 36 months, (WOW, has
it been that long?) we have missed a lot of time at work. We have exhausted
all of our vacation time and have take a lot of unpaid days off to be with Katie.
Neither of us have missed one hospital visit. But God has provided. HE has kept
food on our table. HE has kept us in a warm home. HE has provided money when
HE knew we would need it. He is an Awesome God! He has never let us down!
Our question to you is, are you saved? Do you have a personal relationship
with Jesus Christ? You can. And the best part about it is that it is free!
You don't have to go door to door. You don't have to jump through hoops.
You just have to ask for forgiveness. Not one of us is without sin. Not one
of us can save ourselves. Only God can save us. He will, but only if you accept
the gift he has given us. The gift is Jesus Christ. Right now, right where you
are at, say this prayer.
Father, I come to you now asking for forgiveness.
I admit that I am a sinner. Please Father, wash away
my sins. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior and
I want to spend eternity with you. Thank you Lord.
Amen
If you have said the prayer and want to talk,
feel free to contact us at rua2j33@yahoo.com.
Now that you have said the prayer you need to find a good
church home. If you are in the NE Ohio area, you'll want to
check out Lake Ridge Church. We have visited several times
and are always welcomed with open arms and open hearts!

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them
to obey everything that I have commanded you. And surely I am with
you always, to the end of the age."
Matthew 28:19-20
